HYDRO EXCAVATION

WE PROVIDE HYDRO EXCAVATION SERVICES TO SAFELY EXCAVATE BURIED UTILITIES

Our hydro excavation services offer a safe, clean and precise alternative to conventional dig methods of congested, underground utilities. Our hydro excavating technology is used to safely and efficiently uncover pipelines, gas lines, phone lines, fiberoptics, and other buried utilities. We offer our hydro excavation services throughout Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York, West Virginia, Kentucky, Indiana and Michigan.

WHAT IS HYDRO EXCAVATION?

Specialized hydro excavation equipment consists of high-pressure water and air vacuum. Hydro excavation is considered a green technology because it uses pressurized water to convert the ground to a mud, which is instantly sucked up with powerfully advanced vacuum trucks and stored in debris tanks. This safe and efficient process exposes the underground pipe or utility that needs repaired or replaced. In cold weather, the water is heated to thaw frozen ground. Hydro excavation is a safer, more cost-effective and modern process of excavating underground pipe utilities than with time-consuming, conventional excavation equipment. Especially in areas inaccessible with excavation equipment and for the allowance to operate within buffer zone boundries. Hydro excavation is also the quickest way to expose underground pipelines and utilities.

BENEFITS TO HYDRO EXCAVATION

  • Most efficient and accurate form of underground pipe and utility excavation
  • Better than conventional mechanical methods by avoiding or lessening damage to underground pipes and utilities with costly, time consuming repairs
  • Equipment can access areas traditional equipment can't
  • Safer work environment by providing a more efficient way of digging and moving the soil with less machinery
  • Non destructive worksite
  • Less equipment means less traffic and congestion at the worksites
  • Less damage to landscape with fewer repairs and backfill, eliminating the costs of labor, materials and repair
  • Reduces insurance and liability costs
  • Job is completed quicker with minimal downtime to utilities
