Insight Pipe Contracting installs end-to-end CIPP liners as a method to repair deteriorating pipes without the disturbance and costs of conventional dig methods. This is accomplished by inverting a resin-saturated felt liner into the existing pipe which is then expanded and cured using steam or water, creating a brand new pipe within the existing pipe. The new CIPP liner can stand alone as if it were installed through an open cut method, but with one big difference: no excavation. In addition, Insight Pipe Contracting’s CIPP liners increase flow capacity with smooth, jointless interiors and eliminate infiltration/exfiltration problems caused by joint failures, cracks, and holes in the pipe.
Over the past 15 years, Insight Pipe Contracting has installed over 2.5 million feet of CIPP liner for hundreds of municipalities and commercial and industrial clients in Pennsylvania, New York, Ohio, West Virginia, Kentucky, and Michigan. The company installs an average of 275,000 to 300,00 feet of liner each year ranging in size from 6 inches to 72 inches in diameter. The longest liner the company has installed in one continuous installation was 1,850 feet in one shot from manhole to manhole.
Although the largest diameter liner Insight Pipe Contracting has installed to date is 72 inches, the company can manufacture liners up to 84 inches in diameter at their Harmony, PA facility. In addition, Insight Pipe Contracting can manufacture and install liners up to 120 inches in diameter on site or over the hole.
With the company’s extensive knowledge and years of experience, Insight Pipe Contracting is ready to tackle any Cured-In-Place-Pipe lining project.
